Canterbury City Council has prepared a Core Strategy Options Report. The Core Strategy will provide an overall spatial strategy for the Canterbury District for the period until 2026. We are seeking your views on two documents:
- The Core Strategy Options Report and
- The Sustainability Appraisal.
These are available to view below.

- Then click on 'My Details';
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select: 'when the consultation event closes';
- Finally click on 'OK'.
Please ensure that we receive your comments by 5pm on the 12th March 2010.

Previous Consultations
Herne Bay Area Action Plan Submission (August 2009)
The City Council has submitted the Herne Bay Area Action Plan and all supporting documents, to the Secretary of State on 13th August 2009. The City Council is proposing some focused amendments in response to the representations received at Proposed Submission March 2009. The City Council has now received the Inspector's report.
